EmBe is seeking a dynamic and results-minded Chief Development Officer (CDO) to advance its mission. The CDO will work in concert with the CEO and Board of Directors to foster a culture of philanthropy and provide leadership to institutionalize the work of philanthropy and fund development within the organization. The CDO will be actively engaged in carrying out all aspects of a successful statewide fund development program, including donor acquisition and retention, special events, annual giving campaigns, corporate and individual major gifts, endowment giving, grants and capital campaign efforts. As a member of the senior management team, and manager of development staff and volunteers, the CDO is a representative and leader for the organization.
