The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) represents more than 31,000 members in 235 chapters throughout the world, working to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs. The association fosters development and growth of fundraising professionals and promotes high ethical standards in the fundraising profession. For 25 years the South Dakota AFP chapter has been the standard-bearer for professionalism in fundraising. Our members have access to a rich network of people with varied experience and perspectives.

Ten Star 2016

 

South Dakota AFP earned the 2016 Ten Star Award.  This is the fourth consecutive year the Chapter has achieved this distinction.  The Chapter Ten Star award honors those chapters who have accomplished many of the key objectives outlined in the Strategic Plan.  This Award encourages chapters to perform specific activities designed to increase professionalism within fundraising and public awareness of the importance of philanthropy.  Congratulations to the Chapter!
